What happens if I want to stop running node or providing feeds?
You can opt out at any time. Simply visit the web app, opt out, and your stake will be returned within 1-2 hours.
How are rewards calculated?
Honest providers and node runners split the pool of available funds for each round. More details on this will be provided.
What happens if I submit bad quality data?
Depends. If the data is way off the normal amount, you may get slashed a large portion of your stake. This is because feed provdiers and node runners have a responsibility to ensure high quality data. For data that is correct but maybe lagging or poor, you may still lose 5-10% of your stake. If your endpoint is simply unreachable, you will be removed from participation.
I reported incorrectly. How do I cancel my report.
Reports are final, and cannot be undone. It may be best to setup a way to monitor that your feeds provide high quality data.
What is the minimum deposit to provide feeds or run nodes?
It depends! Each feed has different requirements, but its generally based on the amount of total value locked for large contracts using that feed, and the number of feed providers. The higher the number of feed providers, the lower the deposit.
How can I start testing your feeds.
We have release code example code snippets showing the use of price oracles. Contact us to get access to reading values on testnet.
