Algoracle and Kaiko Partnership Announcement

Kaiko becomes first data provider to begin integrating with Algoracle, Algorand's first native decentralized oracle.

Algoracle is pleased to announce its partnership with Kaiko, one of the worlds leading institutional grade data providers for cryptocurrency market data.

Kaiko empowers market participants with accurate, transparent, and actionable financial data to be leveraged for a range of market activities. Kaiko’s mission is to be the foundation of the new digital finance economy by serving as a single source for market information. Their mission is premised on the idea that high-quality data drives market efficiency and greater transparency throughout the industry.

Algoracle has recently announced in a press release on January 3rd, that after its release onto Algorand's Testnet on 12/20, the very first price feed of ALGO/USD has been running without error for 7 days. During this time over 27,000 update transactions were made - one every 15-20 seconds - totaling less than 30 ALGOs in transactions fees.

We envision a robust oracle solution that will help the Algorand ecosystem grow as developers are able to unlock more use cases. We’re excited to start this journey with the in-demand cryptocurrency price pairs” says Algoracle’s CEO Abdul Osman.

Now, Algoracle is announcing its partnership with one of the world's largest institutional data providers, Kaiko.

Kaiko’s data feeds will be an amazing asset to the Algorand Ecosystem as they are one of the most trusted data providers in the world. Kaiko’s cryptocurrency market data feeds will be used in Algoracle's testing as they scale from only 1 price paring (ALGO/USD) to 50 price parings beginning in mid-January. Scaling these feeds will allow Algoracle to see how the first oracle network built on the Algorand blockchain will handle this increase in data. Not only with the price parings increase, but the number of nodes, and data feeds will also increase during this second phase of testing.
